I am a graduate of DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and an American College of Education Graduate with a Master's in Educational Leadership. I was a nanny throughout undergrad in Chicago and currently on my 8th year as a in Public Schools. I taught 5th grade for a maternity leave position for 3 months and Kindergarten for 6 years. I taught during the pandemic, remote teaching to in person classes-we've done science experiments to arts and crafts, learned to read and write and worked on what it means to be a kind and respectful friend and Leader in and out of the classroom. I currently have been a Lead Instructional Coach for an elementary school in CPS, mentoring teachers and students. These skills I have implemented in my own Kindergarten classroom I plan to transfer to nannying a wonderful family in the city come summer. Part time, I nanny for a wonderful family supporting with after school care.

Ellen is more than a babysitter for my three children, she is like a big sister. She has babysat my twin daughters since they were little and my son since he was born. They look forward to having her babysit and I know I can trust that my kids will be well taken care of and the rules enforced. She goes out of her way to do special things for my kids treating them to ice cream on a date, attending their soccer games and cheer and dance events, taking then for pedicures on their birthday, and more. We really enjoy seeing Ellen and now that she is in college and we don't get to see her as often the time is more precious.
