About Elizabeth G

I have 2 years of experience private tutoring students in subjects from elementary school to high school level math, English, history, art, and the SAT. I found creative ways to keep the students engaged and tailored a curriculum to each student's interest and personality. I also helped students with homework, projects, and studying for tests in various subjects. Within one semester, I helped students gain a mastery in previously difficult subjects and raised each student's grades/test scores (one went from a D to an A in history and one went from not speaking English at all to speaking at a conversational level). With my experience as an Ivy League university graduate, I wish to instill a positive mindset in students toward their academics and can offer college prep if desired. I'm patient, reliable, flexible, and willing to tailor each tutoring session to the parent's wishes and the student's needs toward academic success and in any creative endeavors.
