About Elizabeth

I had the good fortune of becoming a personal assistant to a CEO, integrally involved with his life in a myriad of ways. Professionally, taking him physically to work and working alongside him, medically, taking him to doctors, many different surgeries, note taking, filling medications, empowering and advocating for him within these numerous systems and personally, in the role of counselor, confidant and friend. My next job was as a Program Coordinator for the NYS Ombudsman Program, contracted via Lifespan, I was responsible for procuring, training and retaining Volunteers to advocate for persons in Adult Care Homes and Nursing homes, as well as personally advocating on behalf of themselves and/or their families. I like to interact with older adults as they possess much wisdom (and who couldn't use more wisdom, eh?) and believe everyone has a story. Some people have not shared their stories in a long time... and I'm all ears...
