About Elena

I enjoy making learning fun and interactive with the students I am working with. I have worked with all age levels and in various subjects. My three children have been in public school, private school, homeschool, charter schools, co-op groups, and online classes. I like to meet the student where they are and engage them in learning in a way that is not always traditional. We may practice math facts on a dart board, learn fractions by bowling in the backyard, or learn science with hands on experiments in my kitchen. I love spending time reading quality books by practicing voices and using inflection as we make the story come off the pages and into the living room.
