About Elena

My career with children started as a teen volunteer for the Shorewood Recreation Department in the summer of 2012. In the mornings I worked as a violin tutor for the orchestra program, since I had already been in the schools orchestra program as well as taking private lessons for six years. During the afternoons I volunteered with Kids Club where I played with and took kids of all ages to different activities. When I turned 16 I was offered a summer job in the morning day care program called Homebase where I would be a Homebase Leader for the past three years. During those three years, I also became a babysitter for a family of three wonderful children, until the eldest son reached middle school. In addition to children, I love animals!
