About Melanie

Hi, I'm Melanie! With over six years of experience in nonprofit and educational settings, I have a passion for working with children. I have a proven ability to build meaningful relationships with children of all ages. As a previous 3rd-grade Spanish teacher, past au-pair, current Middle School Musical Director, and someone who works in a school, I have honed my skills in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. In addition to my professional experience, I have volunteered as a Volunteer After-School Program Assistant in Madrid, Spain, and an Intern Program Assistant in Valparaíso, Chile, where I assisted in educational activities and provided support to children in need. I am known for my positive attitude, patience, and ability to connect with children on a personal level. I am committed to ensuring the well-being and happiness of the children under my care, and I look forward.
