I am currently a student at University studying Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am very passionate about working with students with disabilities. I hope that one day I will be able to become a Special Education teacher. I have completed field placements in the Philadelphia School District while working with Early Childhood Students. I have worked with students with disabilities and have explored the help that they receive from their school. I believe in the importance of students receiving the help they need and making sure that the students goals are being met. I would absolutely love the opportunity to work in this position. As a future educator, I am looking for every opportunity to learn and grow. This summer I will be working with the County Intermediate Unit in their Extended School Year for students with disabilities. I fully believe that disability does not define someone and would love to extend my knowledge on different disabilities.
