I highly recommend Edid, who helped us with the care of our daughter for more than 4 years. Edid stepped into this role when my daughter was 4 months old by the time my maternity leave came to an end. I always remember that after interviewing many other candidates, my daughter smiled the minute she saw Edid walked through the door. That day I knew that Edid was the right person to take care of her. She truly delighted in my daughter and gently and carefully started creating a secure bond with her from the get-go. Edid is a reliable, professional, resourceful and unconditional person. She is empathic, loving, supportive and sensitive to the needs of children and families. She focuses on offering quality attention and care to children while promoting and setting healthy boundaries and structure. Edid has a clear understanding of the stages of child development, an aspect that allowed us to have absolute peace of mind and confidence when leaving our child in her care at such a young age. We always find my daughter laughing and enjoying her company, exploring, playing or cooking. She taught my daughter about the Colombian culture and also taught her native Spanish. Edid maintained good communication with me and my partner and always followed our instructions. She was in charge of preparing daily activities appropriate for my daughter’s developmental stage as well as coordinating and planning play dates with other children. Edid is a very social person and she created a network of nannies from the neighborhood and this allowed our daughter to meet other children her age and to develop social skills. Edid also helped us with light cleaning of the apartment and cooking. Edid loves her job and you can tell by her passion and the committed way in which she will take care of your child. During the pandemic she helped us overcome many obstacles to be able to work from home and balance work with family life. Without her help we would not have made it through the pandemic! Edid was always attentive to our parenting model and family values and she followed and respected our daughter's schedules and routines. Also, our daughter developed a secure bond with her and loves and respects her as part of her own family. Edid will be an excellent addition to any family that hires her and that she will offer excellent service and treat your children with respectful and loving care. For our family it was a gift to have her, we recommend her with total conviction.
