I grew up with a brother who has Autism. It was hard at times but nothing we couldn't manage. My mom would always come to me to calm him down during his episodes. I was the only one who could do so, but all I did was listen and talk to him. I was just there for him, or I would direct his attention elsewhere. I'm also going to school for pediatric occupational therapy so I would be working with many kids who have special needs or mobility issues. I would love to expand my experience!
