About Desteni

Hi! I'm an experienced caregiver and current Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher with a passion for helping children grow and thrive. I've been teaching for three years, supporting young learners with diverse needs. My child development journey began in high school through hands-on classes, followed by a role at Kids Developmental Clinic in Pasadena, TX, where I helped children improve daily functions in a therapy setting. I also worked at Memorial Hermann TMC, caring for both children and adults in a hospital environment. As a mom to a fun and outgoing daughter, I understand the importance of finding a caregiver who is patient, nurturing, and dependable. I'd love to support your family this summer!
