I was a full-time caregiver for a beloved family member living with moderate Alzheimer's for two years. Along with providing daily support with meals, hygiene, medication reminders, and companionship, I created a calm, structured environment to help reduce confusion and ease anxiety. I used techniques like redirection and reassurance to support her independence and peace of mind. I also managed doctor appointments, transportation, legal and financial matters, and household bills, ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Beyond elder care, I've worked as a nanny for children from newborns to age 12, so I'm used to adapting to changing needs and keeping routines steady and supportive. I bring patience, empathy, and a good sense of humor to caregiving, whether that means preparing a comforting meal, helping with daily tasks, or simply being a kind, reliable presence throughout the day. I truly enjoy helping others feel safe, respected, and cared for. I'm also kind of funny! :)
