I have had a cleaning business for several years and a lot of my clients are elderly. Gradually some of my cleaning jobs have turned into eldercare jobs. A family member would ask me to be a caregiver because their parent knew and liked me. 20 years ago I took on my first eldercare job. I have had elderly with dementia, that used walkers, that need help in and out of the shower. I do shopping, cooking, errands, laundry, take them to doctors visits, and help with exercises. I have a heart for the elderly and try to make life a little easier and more comfortable for them.
