About Dejan

I am a college student earning a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and plan to earn a Bachelor's in Nursing as well. I have 4 years of experience in Geriatric Dementia Care. For two years, I worked as an Activity Aide on a Dementia unit, then became a Resident Attendant, and currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant on a Dementia unit as well on a respiratory (ventilator) unit. I am also BLS (CPR & AED) certified. I aspired to become a CNA after taking care of a loved one who was diagnosed with ALS for a little over a year. I soon realized that geriatric care is where my heart is and I love the feeling of accomplishment at the end of every day.
