I have over six years of direct experience in education as a teaching assistant in public & private schools. Most recently I was responsible for the care of two children in their home for over 10 years! I recently was a tutor for the RCSD. I'm highly dependable, trustworthy, professional, energetic, organized and have excellent current references and background check. I have a strong affinity & love of children. I also possess a background in Art & Photography. I love incorporating nature into creative age-appropriate projects. I also have direct experience working with special needs children Junior and Senior High grade levels in a residential school setting.

I have a son with special needs and Deborah is wonderful with him! She spends her time reading to him, creating imaginary play, dancing and involving herself in his interests. She is patient, warm and kind. She is very communicative and understands the need for children to be active. She never spends time on her phone or watching TV. She takes my kids on walks, looks at nature and describes her vast knowledge of gardening and horticulture to them. She drives my older son to practices and meets me at Dr.'s appointments. She is wonderfully kind and my children adore her.
