I watched my father get ill, be in hospitals and ultimately lost him while he was in Hospice. During this time, I watched the people that were caring for him and in some cases was grateful for the care and in other cases, felt people could have done a better job. I have always had a love and respect for the elderly and watching my father propelled me do what my heart has always wanted to and I began to pursue nursing. I also have a four year business degree and am working part time in this capacity. I am a Certified Nurses Assistant and am also certified to administer medication in the State of Colorado. I feel very blessed when I am able to contribute to the life of a senior and their families.
