About Deborah

I am a retired, active mother and grandmother of four young grandchildren. Since I was raised by my grandmother, I have a connection to senior citizens. I've volunteered at nursing homes/assistant living establishments in the past. My father-in-law has vascular dementia and I help care for him. I don't have any paid experience as of yet but I have life experience. I have care and compassion for all people but the most vulnerable have a special place in my heart. My career as an educator for 20 years with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school system served me well. My work with regular education classes and then special needs students gave me a broader understanding of people and their needs. I would appreciate the opportunity to help care for your loved one.
