Several years ago I pursued a degree in nursing. During my studies I obtained my certification as a nursing assistant. I started at Alden's in Orland Park and worked with all aspects of aging that our loved ones may reach as they are blessed with longer lives. I have excellent experience with dementia and Alzheimer's patients, minimal assistance, to full assistance due to limited mobility. I have passed medications, bathed, fed, and have always treated every patient with love and respect, kindness compassion, and communicated with each of them as if they were my own family member. Though I have not worked in a nursing home setting for some time, I have recently assisted with home health care services for a woman at my church that owns her business in health care services. I am CPR Certified and am fully knowledgeable in assisted healthcare equipment and medical devices.
