About Dawn

I have nearly 15 years of experience working with the senior community. I have education in dementia care and realize that it is important for caregivers to adjust to their client for a better understanding. Patience and listening are key. The willingness to absorb your surroundings to better care for the client, as they may be nonverbal or unable to understand basic verbiage. Thinking outside the box is beneficial to better help the client. I am a PCA, and CPR certified. I also have experience with respite and end-of-life care. As well as those with Parkinsons Disease. My journey started when I lived in Vermont, I worked for the Visiting Nurses Association, which was shortly after my mother-in-law passed. I helped take care of her and knew that it was something that I wanted to do for people. I am respectful, kind and a gentle soul with compassion and empathy. I will treat your family member(s) as if they are my own.
