Hello. I have worked for the last 9 years as a Senior Companion caring for five elderly women and one elderly man, ranging between the ages of 82 and 101. I run errands, assist with cooking, am handy around the house, can provide transportation as needed, and do some light work in the garden, etc. One of the women and the gentleman required extra care as they were in the early stages of dementia. I also helped one of the daughters transition her mother to an assisted living facility. I am active, caring, organized, punctual, and very personable. Darlene was a companion for my 90 year old mother who had dementia. She kept mom company during the day, cooked for her, made sure she took her medicine & visited with her friends in the building. Darlene is a very compassionate, intelligent & wonderful person. Mom liked her immediately and looked forward to her visits. Unfortunately, mom passed away recently, however Darlene provided me with great moral support during that difficult time. She?s extremely organized, responsible and trustworthy. She approaches everything she does with a positive attitude and treats each task as if it were her own. I highly recommend Darlene as a companion.
