About Darian

I'd describe my personality as gentle, caring, and outgoing. I like working with kids because it is exciting and rewarding. I taught for 5 years as a school teacher for children and loved every minute of it. I'm looking for a job that is close to home, reliable, and trusting. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I worked as a babysitter for a couple families and as a nanny in the summer. I then went into education and began working full time with children in 2019. In my spare time, I like to teach yoga and meditation courses, work as a doula, and spend time at the beach roller skating! One thing you should know about me is that I am gentle in my interactions with children and have plenty of experience teaching, playing with, and caring for a wide age range of children. My skills include taking care of infants, creating interactive and fun ways to learn and pass the time, and building connection through reading, art, games, and song & dance.
