About Darcy

Greetings! I am a 37-year-old female child care professional. I have worked as a nanny for several families and have had a lot of fun doing it! I love making crafts, building blanket forts, embarking epic pretend game adventures, teaching swim lessons, spending time learning about and appreciating the great out doors! Making messes and learning to have fun while clean them up :) I believe fun and joy nurture learning and growth. I do my very best to lead by example and to always keep an open mind when sorting out differences. Safety first is the name of the game and it can be fun! Kindness and understanding goes both ways and is my philosophy behind how I communicate with anyone especially the kiddos I care for. Clear expectations and rules make navigating fun easy and I make a point to have clarity on these with families before I take on any job.
