Darcy was my student (chemical oceanography) and worked in my laboratory for 2 years now. She is independent, a quick learner, and resourceful. She was able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. She is also trustworthy and always punctual. She learned how to use a quadruple mass spectrometer in one week only, analyze hundred of samples from the Arctic and Antarctica and even correct the data. She is extremely clean and organized - the lab would always be sparkling clean when she is around. She will hopefully participate to a research expedition for my team this coming December off Mexico. I am quite sure she is capable to take care of your kids (as well as she took care of my mass spec!) as she is also CPR certified and a former lifeguard. I would recommend her without hesitation!
