Hi! My name is Danielle and I recently graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor's Degree in education. My degree allows me to teach grades 1-6 for both general ed and special ed. Throughout my duration of time at Fredonia, I had several field placements in classrooms every year, one placement being specifically to work with students with learning disabilities. I have also held a position at BOCES as a teacher's aide for the past 5 years in which I worked with children with a variety of special needs, and have previous experience babysitting for a family with a child that was on the autism spectrum. It was my time spent at BOCES that aided me in choosing my career path. I plan to become a special education teacher in the future, so right now I am looking to spend as much time gaining experience as possible! I love working with children and hope that you will allow me the chance to get to know yours!
