Hi, I work at an afterschool program for work study as a early childhood education major. I've worked at a preschool, where I had a group of 6-8 children as a teacher aide. In an afterschool program, with 10 preschool-1st graders. I've also taught older students in elementary and high school. I enjoy helping children learn and be creative. A highlight of working with younger children is they are experiencing the world for the first time and learning a lot in a small span of time. Some of my interest's are reading and playing guitar. In a workshop, provided by a library I got to practice how to read to a group of young children which still comes in handy today.
