Responsible mom of 4 teenaged/grown children with over 4 years of in-home caregiving experience. I am a certified Massage Therapist and was licensed by the state of Michigan from '12-'17. Skills include: Taking vitals, passing meds at the proper times/doses. Prepping/cleaning meals. Spoon feeding/holding cups to drink when needed. Transferring to/from wheel chair, bed, toilet, bath, car, either with the client's assistance or the use of a hoyer lift. Bed bathing, wound dressing, monitoring leg swelling (elevation when necessary), dressing. Potty needs (bed pan, urinal, portable toilet including wiping, drying, diapering, cleaning pans, urinals, toilets). Nail clipping and filing, eye glass cleaning. Driving to Dr appts, shopping, errands, meals out when desired. Laundry, dishes, trash, mail. And most importantly fun positive social interaction with your loved one!
