About Courtney

Full disclosure: I am Courtney's sister. However, I can still highly recommend her as a caregiver. I have a 4 month old daughter (born Jan. 2024) and she was the first person we trusted to leave our daughter with so my husband and I could take a break. Courtney is comfortable taking directions, listening to the needs of a parent and the child, and not afraid to ask questions to make sure things are managed well. She is very patient with crying babies, toddlers and the like and fully enjoys her time with them! With children, Courtney loves reading books, doing crafts and activities, and going on adventures. I would say Courtney is particularly good at talking to kids, she answers their questions thoughtfully, helping them to understand whatever question/problem that may arise. Courtney's past experience working with children and families as a social worker for many years gives her a unique perspective with kids. She is able to interact and speak with kids about tough subjects and answer hard questions tactfully but truthfully if needed. She is currently working towards another career and I admire her work ethic and drive to make that happen.
