I was a full-time social worker for 10 years. I took a nanny job on a break between jobs and I loved it so much! My previous nanny position was with two children ages 2 and 4. I have first aid training, my own car, and have taken numerous courses and trainings in child development. I have experience with all age groups. My focus is on giving your child a safe and fun space to learn and grow. I love doing crafts, reading, pretend play, going on walks, playing outside, encouraging independent time, and special outings when appropriate. When looking for a nanny, my husband and I were focused on finding someone that would be able to work with us and our baby’s needs. I work from home and exclusively nurse, which can be a challenging situation for some caregivers. Courtney stepped in without hesitation. She is flexible, down to earth, punctual, and most importantly, caring and attentive to our infant son. She quickly found a groove within our household, balancing our son’s on-demand feeding needs with a nap schedule that is ever evolving. She is even thoughtful enough to pick out and bring him new books to read from her local library each week. In addition, she helps us with light housework that keep things tidy so nothing piles up for the end of the day. Our son lights up when he sees Courtney in the morning, and we couldn’t be more happy to welcome her into our home.
