I have experience babysitting. I am a General Education Teacher. I work with 3rd graders. I have been teaching for 7 years. I have 6 years of experience working with special needs students. I started babysitting as a teenager and was often the babysitter for my congregation. I used to babysit a 9-year-old boy who had mild autism and his little sister during the summers. I worked at a School Age Program for 4 months and then left for college. I have always loved kids and will play with them. I will discipline them in the appropriate manner, if needed (timeout). I am reliable and trustworthy and I majored in Special Education at Freed-Hardeman University. I have a 14-month-old.

Courtney is an awesome babysitter! Our daughter thoroughly loved her, and while we are super happy for her new teaching job, we will miss her a lot! She was always on time or early, and the one time she had something come up where she was a few minutes late, she communicated the situation and was here as soon as she could be. We felt confident leaving our daughter with her, she followed our rules and routines and played with our daughter. She had no problem administering medications and often fed her dinner. Another thing we liked was her ability to text us while we were gone and let us know how things were going. We liked having an adult teacher as a sitter vs a kid because we knew she could deal with any emergency situation that might arise, tho thankfully, none ever did. She's a fabulous sitter and we will miss her very, very much!
