Hi, I am 44 years old and originally from Romania. I have a degree in Nursing from my home country. While this degree does not enable me to act as a licensed practicing nurse here in the US, I have extensive experience dealing with sick and elderly patients. I recently returned from Romania after having cared for my father, who was paralyzed and bed ridden for the past three years. As far as recent professional experience, I have been working in a private nursing home located in Saugerties, NY. My duties included caring for, feeding, cleaning, medicating, exercising and loving three elderly Alzheimer's patients (two women and one man). Needless to say, they presented me with daily challenges, which is to say I am comfortable with this type of environment. I am compassionate, hardworking, and easy to get along with.
