About Colleen
Hi there! I'm Colleen. 2020 has been a strange time. I would love to help make it easier! I spent 5+ years as a tutor for Kumon Learning Center during which I tutored English (Reading, Writing, Grammar, Literature, etc.) and Mathematics to students aged pre-K thru high school. Afterward, I began tutoring with the Trenton Learning Academy (2 years), a tutoring service in an underserved community. Not only was I tasked with helping students with their studies, the Academy also held a weekly circle time to discuss their thoughts and their feelings about anything that was going on around them in their daily lives. The Trenton Learning Academy stood for intellectual intelligence AND emotional intelligence! I believe there is little more important than education and knowledge. When we understand the world around us, we leave it better than we found it. :)
