About Cobi

I have worked in childcare and teaching services for the last seven years. During the pandemic, I decided to open my own business to assist children who typically require extra help in the classroom, as they were struggling with online classes and missing the face-to-face interaction with teachers. I continued this work for 3 years, focusing on children with dysgraphia and dyslexia. In high school, I was in the PALS program, a mentor program which matched students who needed a listening ear or a buddy to talk to. Since moving to Lubbock, I have tutored at the Children's Home of Lubbock. For the past five years, I have taught summer school for grades 3-5 and been a substitute teacher for pre-k through 6th in my hometown. I have my Bachelors in Human Development and Family Sciences and currently enrolled in the accelerated nursing program at Texas Tech University full time online. I have flexible hours during the day/week and work night shifts one day a week.
