Greetings! I am an experienced Special Education teacher with 5 years of hands-on classroom experience, specializing in students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. I am skilled in teaching a variety of subjects including fundamental math, English, employment, and life skills both in-person and virtually. For the past 2 years I served as a Program Manager at a nonprofit organization, overseeing programs designed to increase inclusive opportunities for individuals with IDD. I have a proven track record of helping students achieve independence and success. I have teaching certificates in both Special Education: Adapted Curriculum and ESL. Currently, I am offering online tutoring options for individuals with disabilities and/or English Language Learners.

Claire is incredibly passionate about her career as a special education teacher, and is one of the most patient people that I know. She currently works in a class that serves students with ASD, and has numerous experiences across the board with both children and adults with special needs. She is an innovative leader that works to create new ways for children with disabilities to navigate various aspects of life, including careers, sports, and general life skills. She is kind and enthusiastic, and is an advocate for all those she serves and cares for. Claire has volunteered with Best Buddies for many years, and always inspires me in how infectious her love of children and serving others is. She is well versed in serving children with disabilities, and is very personable and fun to be around in any setting.
