Currently I am my mother's PCA Monday - Friday during the day for a few hours. I have availability Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays late afternoon until 8 p.m. I would Consider overnights if it was a good fit. I have always had a heart for elderly, and as a child I would drop off Christmas cards to the elders in an elderly complex in my neighborhood just so I could put a smile on a lonely face. I also did some volunteer work years ago taking elders to doctors appointments. Now that I am older myself and care for my mom part time, I have even more compassion for the difficulties of aging. I love cooking and consider myself a pretty good cook. Meal preparation and light house keeping as well as companionship offered. I'd be happy to read to clients as well as play a game of cards or scrabble. I have no problem with pets. I am a non smoker and I have a reliable car. I am looking for a position with afternoon / evening hours.
