I have seen that "special needs" means different things to different people. For some, special needs means occasional and general help. I am very qualified to meet the needs of people in a variety of circumstances. Other people mean "special needs" for their children who are autistic or have OCD or cerebral palsy, or perhaps older parents with a feeding tube or heart condition. I have been a teacher, and have worked with autistic children. I have taught part time in order to help care for my grandfather who had Parkinson's. I am happy to learn about different conditions that make each life unique and to assist in helping to have fulfilling lives.
