Caring for senior citizens can be fulfilling for several reasons If you have a natural inclination to help others, caring for seniors allows you to express your empathy and compassion. Many people find joy in building relationships and connecting with seniors who have a wealth of life experiences and stories to share. The work can be very meaningful Job satisfaction, compensation and benefits, work life balance, career growth opportunities, company culture, stability and security. These are all important qualities for a successful business and career. I've only cared for my late grandfather, I took care of him every day for 2 years until his passing. My responsibilities included but were not limited to bathing, dressing, meal prep, medication distributing, housekeeping, assisted with colostomy bags, transport to and from doctor's appointments , pick up prescriptions and run errands. But most importantly be there for him. My top 3 skills are CPR, first aid and compassion for others
