I have been working in a middle school classroom for children with special needs for 10 years. The classroom is a mixed setting of age and ability. There are students who struggle with executive functioning and ADHD as well as students with ASD and Down's Syndrome. Each student is unique as is his/her abilities and learning styles. We use a variety of teaching styles depending on the student. I enjoy my work and my students very much.
