Hello! My name is Christina and I have earned a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from UCI in 2013 and have always been booked up in tutoring! I LOVE what I'd do. I have taught K-4 reading intervention groups and 4th/5th grade full-time in both Northern and Southern California for several years. However, my tutoring experience ranges from PreK-6! Additionally, I have experience as a Lead Editor and lesson author for Teacher Created Materials in Huntington Beach. I always put my 100% effort in analyzing my students' needs and using my creativity to bridge learning gaps and solve problems. I build a caring and safe relationship with my students and parents are happy when they see results! Christina has tutored my 5-year-old daughter for two months, and she is such a prepared tutor. She always keeps time strictly and has her valuable curriculum. On the first day, she spent time with my little girl by playing, story-telling, and a little bit of writing to gauge my daughter's level properly. Then, after she got every needed information about my daughter, she genuinely started working on her job. As of the second day, she has brought some teaching aids that she thought would fit my daughter. My daughter became Christina's big fan after her second tutoring, and now my daughter's English has been definitely developing. Plus, Christina is supportive of getting as flexible time as she can, and every time she finishes each tutoring with my daughter, she always gives me feedback about my daughter's improvement. Lastly, she is such a kind person because she always cheers my daughter up and even did not forget my daughter's birthday and brought a present.
