I'd describe my personality as warm, fun, intuitive. I like tutoring because I am a teacher and I love helping kids learn. I'm looking for a job that focuses on elementary school age. I started tutoring when I was 22. In my spare time, I like to cook, hike, swim, run, travel, and be a mom. One thing you should know about me is I am very good with kids and connect with them at their level. I also strive to build confident and successful learners who are motivated and excited about what they are learning. My skills include connecting with the student, teaching them in a method that works for them, and motivating them to feel and be successful. I am also CPR and First Aid certified, have taught swimming lessons since college, and kids' cooking classes for 14 years.
