About Christian

I grew up in a daycare household and was heavily involved for 4 years during High School. I was involved with PALS and AVID tutoring my junior and senior year of HS. In undergrad, I was a substitute teacher for AISD before beginning to work as an Audiology Assistant at Texas School for the Deaf (where I currently am). Deaf friendly! Recently I was accepted into the Doctorate of Audiology Program at UT Austin. My bachelors degree was in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (Audiology) with a minor in American Sign Language studies. My passion is with kids. Growing up in a daycare I was able to learn skills to support child development. My future goal is to become an educational audiologist and work in a school. With all of the current situations and uncertainties, my goal and hope is to always provide a positive and safe environment for children to learn and grow.
