Hello! I'm Christen. With over 10 years of experience caring for children, I am all about helping kids have fun through creativity, outdoor play, and engaging in activities that foster learning. I love being outside, doing crafts, or playing games, and minimizing entertainment through screens. I appreciate routines but am adaptable to operate in less structured environments, and I prioritize honoring parents rules and agendas. I communicate openly with parents, providing regular updates via text as often as preferred. My approach to enforcing household rules is firm yet understanding, ensuring a safe environment for the children in my care. I am patient, grace giving, caring and reliable. I'm typically flexible with last minutes changes/needs. As a former firefighter, I am trained in first aid and CPR. Newborn-6yo is my specialty. I'm open to negotiating my rate for multiple children.
