About Christa

As a graduate of Harvard Business School, a former tech marketing executive, and mother of three college-aged young adults, I bring a wealth of experience in clear, impactful communication. I currently teach grades 6-8 and work as a part-time advisor, guiding high school students through their college application process. I am passionate about the art of storytelling and the power of effective writing and critical analysis, and I aim to help students not only improve their writing skills but also find their own voices. Students love working with me because: 1) I am trustworthy and create a supportive environment where students feel confident to explore and refine their skills. 2) I make learning relevant with engaging topics that interest students and offer self-reflection. My students don't just learn how to write, they learn about themselves. 3) My students build lifelong skills that impact every area of life, personally and professionally.
