About Cheyney

I have worked with in general education as well and with students with autism. I have been the lead teacher in both first and second grade classes and have hands on experience in k-3 classrooms. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, thorough, and organized. I like tutoring because I love teaching! Additionally, I see how valuable continuing to learn over the summer can be! I'm looking for a job that is consistent throughout the summer. That would be ideal since I know we would see the most growth that way. I am open to other options, but would love to meet with your child on a weekly basis. I am open to meeting virtually or in person. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my twin boys who are headed into second grade next school year. One thing you should know about me is that I teach in Fayette county which provides me with direct insight to what your child will need to continue to succeed! My skills include reading, writing, spelling/phonics, and math.
