I formally became a Special Needs care giver in October but have been helping with a particular family since June and have been a volunteer at a therapeutic riding facility for two years. I have a lot of experience with Aautism and Down syndrome. I also have experience with adults with special needs though it is less than what I have with children. I have helped with families that have children with progressive muscular dystrophy and other physical handicaps that have required more attentive care. I am CPR and First-Aid certified along with Habitation certification
