About Chelsea

I'm a graduate student with a strong background in math and physics. I have 2 years of experience tutoring math, physics and meteorology courses at the undergraduate level. I have also served as a Teaching Assistant to undergraduate students for 2 years. I am a certified College Reading and Learning Association peer tutor. I am eager to help students with reading, math and science courses at the middle/high school and college level. One of my most amazing and rewarding tutoring opportunities was working with an undergraduate student who has autism. We worked together for several years, and he overcame his academic probation status to eventually graduate college and is now a graduate student! I am grateful to have learned so much from working with him, including the importance of teaching students to have self-confidence, to set goals, and to remain dedicated to achieving them.
