My name is Chelsea and I have over 10 years of experience working with both adults and children with disabilities. I graduated in 2014 as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and worked for a private clinic as well as a school district, providing OT services for children and young adults aged 3-22 until I had my son in 2017. I'm very passionate about working with kids and adults on activities of daily living, helping them to become as independent and empowered as possible in the process. Before working as a OTA, I also worked as a para-educator, aide, and caregiver in school and home settings. I currently stay home with my son, so I would potentially have him with me during any job, so kids that are manageable with another child around who are around his developmental age (he'll be 3 in May) are ideal, as I could engage them both in play/ socialization.
