I have worked with patients suffering from autism, mental retardation and severe ADD. Though my experiences on different cases were brief. I have spent many years dealing with adults suffering from dementia. It is a very hard job but I enjoy helping people cope a little better and enjoying the life they live. It's hard when children have these disorders and there isn't anyone there to protect them from bullies. I am here to give them a safe place as well as a disciplined environment to be in I possess patience & love which are imperative skills to posses in this line of work.

Cheffeney worked with us for a few months and took care of a 9 year old boy with some special needs. She was very caring and meticulous with the way that she performed her job, always careful to follow our instructions. She also took initiative when appropriate. We were overall very pleased with her care taking but decided that we needed a caretaker with a background in children with the kind of special needs that our child presents with (albeit mildly). We highly recommend her as a very reliable, caring and responsible caretaker especially for a younger child.
