About Charlene

Hi! I'm Charlene -a recent graduate from Arizona State University with a B. A. in Psychology, and I'm currently exploring master's programs to pursue my dream of becoming a child psychologist. I have a strong background in childcare, including hands-on experience in a daycare where I observed and recorded children's moods and behaviors, an internship supporting children on the autism spectrum and their caregivers, and my current role at the Boys & Girls Club where I lead activities and mentor kids of all ages. My passion lies in understanding child development and creating nurturing, engaging environments for kids to thrive. I bring energy, empathy, and structure to every role I take on. Outside of work, you'll find me spending time with my younger siblings, running my former student organization's alumni efforts, or enjoying a good Disney+ movie. I'm excited to bring my skills and heart into your home and provide care that's both fun and supportive!
