Our family has had the pleasure of getting to know and work with Cathy L for the past four years in the setting of aftercare and summer camp programs as well as for babysitting and recreational events. My two daughters quickly came home talking about their new best friend, come to find out it was one of their educators. Cathy has connected with both of them deeply and makes an effort to spend time with them one-on-one, so she can focus on them as individuals. My girls cherish their time with her and have both pinpointed her as one of the best role models in their lives. My husband and I have been fortunate to get to know her as well, as her strong work ethic meant she was often at aftercare extended hours and on weekends preparing activities for the kids. Although she is no longer at our aftercare program, her love for the children in her life brings her to visit often, and it is not uncommon to see her at my daughters’ and other family’s local performances and sports games. It is a thing of beauty to see the crowd of children that comes running when she arrives, and we trust and love Cathy dearly.
