About Catherine

I have several years of experience working in non traditional educational environments. I worked at Delgado for several years as a science tutor, mainly in chemistry but also in physics and biology. I also worked at a mathnasium for a few years where I worked with children of all ages. There we focused on mental math and general mathematical fluency. I was also the educational lead at Longue Vue House and Gardens where I designed and led educational programs for children on the topics of nature science One thing you should know about me is I can work with a wide variety of students whether it's teaching a 5-year-old to read or an 18-year-old in chemistry. I am able to tailor my approach according to the student I'm working with. Little kids often enjoy my presence but the majority of my knowledge lies in math and science which is more applicable to older students. Nevertheless I am great at both ends and all the kids in between
