About Cate

Hello! My name is Cate, and I am a passionate and responsible caretaker who loves working with kids. My favorite part about providing care is creating a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment where children can learn, grow, and reach their full potential. I communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates and following their preferred communication method. During my junior and senior years, I worked with ages 6 months-3 years at the Bend Senior High Infant/Toddler Center for 4-5 hours/week as a childcare assistant. I grew my knowledge of effective communication with younger children and providing top-quality care. Here are the certifications I have: First Aid/CPR/AED (1/25/24) BLS Provider CPR/AED (7/25/23) Introduction to Childcare Health and Safety (6/12/23) Safe Sleep for Oregon's Infants (5/30/23) Food Handlers License (4/5/23) I have also babysat for several families and am looking for more opportunities!
