To Whom It May Concern; It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of reference for Cassandra. I have known Cassandra for over one year as her teacher mentor in the field of special education. Cassandra is a warm and caring person for youth and adults around her. She is very considerate and concern about the well being of her students and colleagues. Cassandra demonstrates her success working with special education students who have been suspended from school for disciplinary actions. She ensures students remain connected to their academic goals as she applies the accommodations and services each student requires in order for them to succeed. Cassandra motivates her students to engage themselves in learning by using reading and math strategies that allow students to use analyzes, comprehension, and problem solving skills. Furthermore, Cassandra participates in professional development sessions to improve her leadership skills in special education. I believe Cassandra will be successful in any educational environment. Her professionalism will help a workplace thrive. Sincerely, Wanda T, M.Ed Special Education Teacher/Case Manager
